LIVE MUSIC VENUES
Venues designed to offer live musical concerts are of special interest to us. Growing out of the concert industry, this is an area where our expertise and product offerings are unmatched. We provide sound production for top touring national acts every week in venues across the West Coast. As a result we are accustomed to meeting the requirements set forth in the artists riders provided by these bands. This means that we have current and constantly updated knowledge of what will be required to meet the needs of any type of act that your venue is seeking to promote. When we install a sound system in a concert venue, the bands that perform there take notice. To illustrate our work we have chosen to showcase the Sierra Nevada Brewery's beautiful concert room the fondly refer to as ..."THE BIG ROOM".
The
Sierra Nevada Brewery in beautiful Chico, California is one of the top
micro breweries in the United States, creating and distributing very
popular and well known brews such as Pale Ale, Stout, Porter and Celebration
Ale. The brewery also has a restaurant and taproom where you can enjoy
top name blues bands while sipping on your favorite libation and enjoying
a very tasteful and well prepared meal. We were very pleased to be chosen
to design and install the sound system for the latest addition to the
Sierra Nevada Brewery menu, their glorious new live music showroom affectionately
referred to as "The Big Room". Today we continue to operate
the sound, video and lighting equipment, exclusively, for every show
they have there. The sound system we installed is illustrated below:

Signal
wiring is color coded to allow easy identification of the various signals.
Front of House wiring is in red, monitors in purple,
auxilliary seating in blue, etc. Furthermore, signal wiring
is located on the opposite side of the rack from all power cabling and
circuitry. This is to minimize noise caused by the EM field surrounding
the power cabling. Even the amplified speaker cable looms are separated
from the unamplified signal wiring. We pride ourselves on our ability
to create clean and flawless wiring systems.
All power for the sound system is balanced and isolated from that of the lighting system via two large transformer units located in the attic above the band dressing room, which can be accessed via a pull down staircase. Stage power as well as inputs and monitor outputs are distributed through numerous floor pockets located throughout the stage. Microphones include Shure SM58s, SM81s, SM57s, Beta58s, Beta91, Sennheiser MD421s, e609s, AKG D112 and Countyman active direct boxes.
Finished in hard wood and marble this room represents a team effort involving some of the finest craftsmen in Northern California. Tickets for Sierra Nevada Shows sell out the same day they go on sale so get in line and come check us out. We will be there!
